Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023) is the 32nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 15 years. When the first Guardians of the Galaxy premiered in 2014, it marked a change of pace and stood out for its more acid humor and its daring characters that fit more into the profile of the antihero than the typecast of superheroes to which we were accustomed.

Eternal will be the hours of footage of the Marvel Cinematic Universe at the rate we are going. Eternals (2021) directed by award-winning Chloé Zhao is the latest piece in the vast and complex puzzle of the Marvel universe. It is no longer enough with the old acquaintances, now it is time to dust off each and every one of the characters. It is no longer enough with spin-offs, remakes, and reboots, now you have to squeeze every last drop of everything that smells like money. It is with that spirit that Eternals are born, or perhaps I should say, they are engendered for that reason that they are eternal.

Black Widow (2021)

Besides death and taxes, the other sure thing is that we will have Marvel films until the end of time. After the end of a stage with Avengers: Endgame (2019), Disney had already prepared all its framework to continue milking the cow. What they had been giving us for more than 10 years was just the tip of the iceberg and that universe of heroes and villains begins to expand more than a rumor in a small town. With their new Disney + toy, they have found a viable ecosystem to pave the way for new projects and a quick and easy way to introduce new characters. All thought to lay the foundations for generational change.
